報告題目:Instability of the solitary wave solutions for some dispersive equations

摘 要:We discuss the instability of the solitary wave solutions for some dispersive equations. Firstly, we consider the standing wave solutions of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation in the L^2-subcritical case. It was proved by Shatah (1983), Shatah, Strauss (1985), and Ohta, Todorova (2007) that the orbit stablity is determined by a critical frequency. The one dimension problem was left after then. In this talk, we give the proof of this remained problem. Secondly, we discuss the extension of the argument to the general dispersive equations. In particular, we study the instability of the solitary wave solutions for a class of the dispersive equations in the degenerate case, without any restriction on the regularity of the nonlinearity. This is a jointed work with Zihua Guo, and Cui Ning.
吳奕飛教授簡介
曾獲得廣東省優(yōu)秀博士論文,全國百篇優(yōu)秀博士論文提名。研究方向是偏微分方程和調(diào)和分析。三個工作分別改進了菲爾茲獎獲得者Bourgain和Tao等人的工作,并解決了Tao及其合作者遺留了十余年的問題。近些年,科研工作在遺留了20年的問題上跨出了重要的一步,被審稿人稱為“原創(chuàng)性”工作,研究方法被加拿大皇家學會會士Sulem、愛丁堡大學教授Oh等稱為“Wu's argument”、“Du-Wu-Zhang's method”;解決了Brown大學教授遺留了16年的問題。在國際一流期刊J. European Mathematical Society, International Mathematics Research Notices, Advances in Mathematics, Analysis and PDE, SIAM J. Mathematical Analysis, J. Differential Equation等發(fā)表20多篇論文. 多次受邀到法國,韓國,澳大利亞訪問或做學術(shù)報告。
