報(bào)告摘要:In this talk, we consider a single species model with nonlocal dispersal strategy and investigate how the dispersal rate of the species and the distribution of resources affect the total population. First, we show that the upper bound for the ratio between total population and total resource is $C\sqrtcyy2ekg$. Moreover, examples are constructed to indicate that this upper bound is optimal. Secondly, for a type of simplified nonlocal diffusion operator, we prove that under certain condition,the total population as a function of dispersal rate admits exactly one local maximum point. These results reveal essential discrepancies between local and nonlocal dispersal strategies. This is joint work with Xueli Bai.

李芳副教授簡(jiǎn)介
李芳,2008年于美國(guó)明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)獲得博士學(xué)位,師從倪維明教授,之后在美國(guó)普渡大學(xué)工作了3年,任科研助理教授,現(xiàn)為中山大學(xué)副教授。主持過(guò)國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金面上項(xiàng)目以及上海市浦江人才計(jì)劃基金。主要研究帶有應(yīng)用背景的非線性橢圓型拋物型方程(組),有多篇文章發(fā)表在Indiana University Mathematics Journal,Journal of Differential Equations,Journal of Mathematical Biology, Bulletin of Mathematical Biology, European Journal of Applied Mathematics等國(guó)際一流學(xué)術(shù)期刊上。
