摘 要: In this talk, we investigate the existence and branching patterns of wave trains in a 2D face-centered square lattice consisting of alternating light and heavy atoms, with linear coupling between nearest particles and a nonlinear substrate potential. In contrast to monatomic chains, we consider two different periodic waveform functions corresponding to light and heavy particles, respectively. As a result, we have to solve coupled advanced-delay differential equations, which are reduced to a finite-dimensional bifurcation equation with an inherited Hamiltonian structure by applying a Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction. Then we obtain the small-amplitude solutions in the Hamiltonian system near equilibria in non-resonance and p:q resonance, respectively. In particular, the results can be applied to some one-dimensional diatomic lattices.
郭上江教授簡介
郭上江,中國地質(zhì)大學(xué)(武漢)二級(jí)教授、博士生導(dǎo)師、數(shù)理學(xué)院院長,湖南大學(xué)岳麓學(xué)者特聘A崗教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。主要從事微分方程分岔理論及應(yīng)用研究,隨機(jī)動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)理論及應(yīng)用研究。主持國家自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目6項(xiàng),在Springer出版社應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)叢書出版了英文專著一部,在JDE、JNLS、M3AS、DCDS和Nonlinearity等雜志上發(fā)表論文80多篇。2014-2019及2021年入選“中國高被引學(xué)者”榜單。獲湖南省自然科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)一等獎(jiǎng)(排名第一,2018年)、湖南省科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)(排名第二,2008年),擔(dān)任多個(gè)學(xué)術(shù)刊物的編委。
