報(bào)告題目：Global Stabilization and Blow up of Solutions of Structurally Damped Nonlinear Wave Equations

報(bào)告摘要：The talk will be devoted to the initial boundary value problems for structurally damped nonlinear wave equations of the form

$$\partial_t^2 u(x,t)-\Delta u(x,t)+\gamma(-\Delta^\theta)\partial_t u(x,t)+f(u)=h, x\in \Omega, t>0$$

where $\Omega\subset R^n$ is a bounded domain with smooth boundary, $\gamma>0,\theat\in(0,1]$are given numbers,

$f(\cdot)$is a given nonlinear term and h is a given source term. We are planning to discuss the problems of global stabilization of solutions of initial boundary value problems for (1) and existence of finite-dimensional attractors of semigroup generated by this problem. The problem of blow up in a finite time of solutions of initial boundary value problems for unstable nonlinear structurally damped wave equations with arbitrary positive initial energy will be also discussed.

Varga K. Kalantarov 教授簡介：

Varga K. Kalantarov教授現(xiàn)于土耳其，伊斯坦布爾Koch（克赫）大學(xué)任教。于1966-1971 阿塞拜疆巴庫國立大學(xué)讀本科，于1974 年在阿塞拜疆，巴庫研究所數(shù)學(xué)與力學(xué)學(xué)院獲得博士學(xué)位；1988年在Steklov數(shù)學(xué)研究所獲得微分方程和數(shù)學(xué)物理科學(xué)博士學(xué)位。任美國數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會、阿塞拜疆?dāng)?shù)學(xué)學(xué)會、土耳其數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會成員。

Varga K. Kalantarov教授在偏微分方程方面取得了很好的研究成果，對動力系統(tǒng)及遍歷理論等方面也有深刻的研究，尤其關(guān)于流體動力學(xué)方程取得了一系列的結(jié)果。先后在 J. Differential Equations、Commun. Pure Appl. Anal.、J. Math. Fluid Mech.、Ann. Henri Poincaré 等國際重要學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表論文近七十篇。
