報(bào)告題目:Space-time structure of the solution to Boltzmann equation

報(bào)告摘要：In this talk, I will present our recent results on space-time structure of nonlinear Boltzmann equation with hard and soft potentials. The key ingredients in our approach are various versions of Mixture Lemma, which reveal that the combined effect of transport and collision will bring regularity and decay in both space and velocity variables as good as one pleases. The solution operator is thus decomposed into particle-like and fluid-like parts, and the nonlinear problem is completed by a coupled integral equation. The duality between particle part and fluid part will also be discussed.

王海濤教授簡(jiǎn)介

王海濤，上海交通大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院副教授、博士生導(dǎo)師、2015年博士畢業(yè)于新加坡國(guó)立大學(xué)，2015-2017在“中央研究院”從事博士后研究，2017年加入上海交通大學(xué)。他的主要研究興趣是對(duì)流體力學(xué)、動(dòng)理學(xué)初邊值問(wèn)題的解給出精細(xì)刻畫(huà)，所得結(jié)果發(fā)表在Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., SIAM J. Math. Anal., J. Stat. Phys.等國(guó)際重要數(shù)學(xué)期刊上，曾應(yīng)邀作世界華人數(shù)學(xué)家大會(huì)45分鐘邀請(qǐng)報(bào)告。
