報告題目：No existence of linear algorithm for the one-dimensional Fourier phase retrieval

報告摘要:Fourier phase retrieval, which aims to reconstruct a signal from its Fourier magnitude, is of fundamental importance in fields of engineering and science. In this talk, we provide a theoretical understanding of algorithms for the one-dimensional Fourier phase retrieval problem, namely, we show that there is no linear convergence algorithm to reconstruct a signal from its magnitude of discrete Fourier transform and its initial value, unless P=NP. This demystifies the phenomenon why no provable algorithm has been proposed over the past few decades for Fourier phase retrieval.

報告人簡介

黃猛，北京航空航天大學數(shù)學科學學院副教授。2019年博士畢業(yè)于中科院數(shù)學與系統(tǒng)科學研究院，2019-2021年期間在香港科技大學從事博士后。研究方向為相位恢復、低秩矩陣恢復及數(shù)據(jù)科學中的優(yōu)化問題。目前在Applied and Computational Harmonic Analysis、SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences、IEEE Transactions on Information Theory、Journal of Fourier Analysis and Applications等國際權威期刊上發(fā)表論文多篇。主持國家自然科學基金1項。詳情見其主頁https://math.buaa.edu.cn/szdw/axbck/jskxx/hm.htm
